The Next Steps!

This blog is going to be discussing the next steps regarding the major project.

What are the next stages?

A lot of planning has been completed for images one and two, however, images three and four still need properly planning.

The next stages for image one is to complete the moulding process of the glued square eyes and to run these pieces. There will likely be lots of trial and errors for this process as it would take a few attempts to get the hardness/softness and colouring correct. The heart sculpt is going to be taken home during the two inter-semester weeks, with the plan to finish this. The heart will then be moulded and pieces will be able to be ran.More trials for image two will be completed, this time focusing on getting the cap plastic correct and starting the colouring process properly. Image three will have begun sculpting stages in the coming weeks. Once the primary research has been conducted and data has been analysed, a design can be made for image four.

The project is fluid and managed personally, so the student needs to demonstrate that they are adaptable and can problem-solve if and when needed. Preparations should be put in place for when things may not go how they were planned. Staying calm and carefully thinking about how to solve issues would be the most appropriate way to deal with things going wrong. This all relates back to the soft skills that are crucial when project managing.
